Nate brings experience in public affairs, communications and media relations to his role at the agency. He’s helped implement strategic communications and digital media strategies for clients ranging from nonprofits to educational institutions to housing developers.
Nate has helped form and lead the firm’s digital media studio during his tenure, building digital presences for clients through social media, digital marketing campaigns and website creation. He launched and manages the Heart of SF social media campaign in partnership with the City of San Francisco to highlight downtown as a vibrant neighborhood; now in its second year, the campaign has accumulated tens of thousands of followers and posts with close to half a million views. In addition to his digital strategy work, Nate supports clients with public, media and government relations, leading and assisting in outreach efforts for housing development projects across the Bay Area, from community meetings to groundbreakings and grand openings.
Nate began his career at his alma mater, Sonoma State University, where he served in several communications roles within its Strategic Communications Department, leading and assisting in press outreach, content creation and social media projects. While enrolled at SSU, he was a writer and editor for the Sonoma State STAR, the school’s on-campus newspaper. While working for the STAR, he assisted with the paper winning first-place honors from the California News Publishers Association and the American Scholastic Press Association for its coverage of the 2017 Northern California Tubbs Fire. He graduated in 2018 with a BA in English.
