Ben Boyce is Senior Vice President and Partner at Bodewell Group (formerly Southwest Strategies Group), where he leads strategic advocacy efforts across the firm’s broad portfolio of land use and real estate clients. Ben has decades of experience guiding clients to victory on challenging development, infrastructure and public policy initiatives, and regularly plays leading roles in the outcomes of the most significant issues facing California and the Western United States.
Ben excels at bringing together broad coalitions of community, stakeholder and political support to advance important projects forward. He has helped clients secure government approvals for more than 35,000 homes across California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah and New Mexico, ranging from small infill sites to large mixed-use masterplans, often with complex community and regulatory challenges. His strategic counsel has also helped achieve local, state and federal permitting for more than $4 billion in infrastructure projects, including significant work advocating for battery storage, data centers and the digital backbone of our future. His work spans retail, office, industrial, landfills, stadiums and arenas as well. In addition, he is responsible for helping more than ten million water users across the West to conserve and become more efficient with one of the region’s most limited natural resources.
Ben has been recognized with nearly 50 awards for his efforts, including Orange County’s crisis PR of the year, top outreach program in the state, the nation’s best website for a government utility and San Diego Metro Magazine’s 40 under 40. Ben is a graduate of the University of Arizona.
