Amanda Foley is a Senior Vice President and Partner at Bodewell Group (formerly Southwest Strategies Group), where she leads the firm’s design and digital team, along with agency marketing. Based in the Seattle office, she leverages her blend of creativity, communications insights and business acumen to support client initiatives across all agency sectors.
Amanda has a well-versed communications background that allows her to fluently navigate integrated communications campaigns. Over the last 25 years she’s held leadership roles spanning strategy development, traditional public relations, creative, digital marketing and website development. Understanding the intersections of multiple communications disciplines enables Amanda to orchestrate big pictures that stay ahead of the industry curves, and she has numerous award-winning campaigns under her belt.
An entrepreneur at heart, she founded her first agency in 2004, a boutique specializing in consumer PR and marketing. In 2017 she co-founded Kiterocket and served as CEO in the year’s leading up to the agency’s acquisition by Bodewell Group in 2025. During that time, Amanda helped reinforce the agency’s position as a leading B2B PR and marketing firm across technology and renewable energy, while implementing operational excellence.
An industry leader, Amanda served as President for Public Relations Boutiques International for the 2018-2020 term and is active in women’s executive networks. She holds a BA in Communications from Oregon State University.
