Alec has several years of experience implementing effective communications strategies in the public and private sector, focused on both public and media relations. He has a deep understanding of what it means to communicate in a clear, concise way to an audience.
Alec’s experience with the City of San Diego’s Public Works Department allowed him to lead the public outreach effort for the City’s Capital Improvements Program, which included several hundred active construction projects at a given time. Through this experience, he developed a wealth of knowledge on the construction outreach process and an understanding of the needs that a community has while being impacted by construction. He has organized numerous community outreach events and press conferences that generated grassroots community support for construction projects.
