Martijn Pierik is a Senior Vice President and Partner at Bodewell Group (formerly Southwest Strategies Group), where he brings nearly 30 years of experience in public relations, journalism and marketing to support the firm’s growing technology and innovation practice. Based in Phoenix, he provides high-level strategic counsel to the agency’s technology clients and supports business development efforts to drive agency and client growth.
Martijn co-founded Kiterocket (formerly Impress Labs), acquired by Bodewell Group. Under his leadership, the firm built a strong reputation in semiconductor and emerging technology communications. Earlier in his career, Martijn served as managing partner at Mathews & Clark Communications, Silicon Valley’s original tech PR firm.
Throughout his career, Martijn has advised global technology companies, supported startups through funding and growth stages and helped position clients for acquisitions and IPOs. He holds degrees in International Business Management and Marketing from Hanze Polytechnic University in the Netherlands and Northern Arizona University.
