Eva leads complex public engagement projects in transit, infrastructure and human services across California. They design and implement tailored strategies that meet and exceed client goals while creating meaningful opportunities for stakeholders and communities to contribute input, feedback and ideas. Eva specializes in translating complex technical information into clear, accessible messaging and ensuring public feedback is actionable and reflects a diverse range of voices.
Their transit portfolio includes work with the California High-Speed Rail Authority, San Mateo County Transit District (SamTrans), San Francisco County Transportation Authority (SFCTA), San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA), Caltrans and Napa Valley Transportation Authority. Over five years, Eva supported SFMTA’s change management program, conducting field research, developing curriculum, delivering de-escalation trainings in person to hundreds of front-line employees and supervisors and mentoring trainers, as well as facilitating executive coaching sessions.
Eva holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, with international exchanges at the University of Coimbra in Portugal and Koç University in Istanbul, Turkey. Since moving to San Francisco in 2012, they have worked with community-based organizations serving historically under-resourced communities and with other consulting firms on public participation initiatives, human-centered design processes, environmental justice projects and a wide range of transportation and civic engagement efforts across California.
